Andrea Ward

I’ve always enjoyed keeping fit through running and going to the gym, but it was during a period living abroad where my passion for Pilates and Barre was ignited. Pilates gave me a real sense of control over my body and the way that it moved which I’d not experienced before, in addition to its obvious benefits of strengthening, toning and improving flexibility.

Having attended classes for several years, I bit the bullet and decided to challenge myself to take it a step further and teach this great format to others. I love the feeling of community that participating in movement together can create - exercise can and should be fun! Doing it with other people offers encouragement, and dare I say it, keeps us committed!

I chose to qualify through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) not because I'm Australian (honest!), but because it was extremely important to me to gain a thorough understanding of not just the practical elements of pilates but also the associated anatomy and physiology. I have completed the APPI Matwork Comprehensive qualification, along with the APPI's Pilates for Runners and Ante & Post Natal Pilates courses.

I love pilates. I love seeing the rewards that it brings. I hope you love ReWard Pilates.
